The family of Dexter Reed, their lawyers and Democrats want you to feel empathy for his death. We’re not allowed to tell his family that Dexter was in the wrong because he shot at police first. Chicago police aren’t allowed to publicly defend themselves either. We’re all suppose to go along with narrative and keep pushing out these old photos of Dexter not looking like a thug. The reality is: He had a pending gun case that he was released on. He shot first.

The first parents to ever be charged, then convicted, in their child’s mass shooting at a U.S. school were both sentenced Tuesday to 10 to 15 years in prison after they faced the victims' families at a sentencing hearing in a Michigan courtroom. In the aftermath of the trials, the victims' families have demanded further accountability. They are seeking changes to governmental immunity laws that protect schools from being sued and want to see a requirement for independent reviews after any mass shooting. Could this be the first step towards curbing gun violence?

The Arizona Legislature is advancing a bill that would allow a property owner the ability to defend their property from illegal immigrants that cross their property to illegally enter the U.S. It comes as an Arizona rancher, George Kelly, faces trial next month on second-degree murder charges in the January 2023 shooting death of Gabriel Cuen-Butimea, who had entered the country illegally and was found dead on Kelly's property.

The United States of America was founded as a Constitutional Republic. Under this new republic each the notion of states rights was established. Earlier this week the U.S Supreme Court said "that States may disqualify persons holding or attempting to hold state office. But States have no power under the Constitution to enforce Section 3 with respect to federal offices, especially the Presidency,” the opinion states. As a result Donald Trump will remain on the ballot in states like Colorado. On tonight's episode of The UnWoke Show Tim and Rich discuss the Supreme Court's recent ruling.
